Christmas Eve Evening

First a couple funny things that happened in December...
1.  Amelia and I had gone to Maurices to get a last minute gift that Sadie wanted for Christmas.  While we were there she discovered a purse.  I told her no a few times and when we went to leave she still had a firm grip on it.  I told her no one more time and she looked up at me with her little blue eyes and her cute little voice and said "but momma I wuv it"  Needless to say she got the purse that day.
2. When Amelia is cranky we tell her "you're cranky" then she will say "I not cranky, I Amelia!"  or "I happy." Well one day Colin was being a little cranky and Amelia says "Colin's cranky, I not cranky, I happy!"  She cracks me up some days.

After our morning and early afternoon business we came home and relaxed.  We had some dinner and then made some cookies for Santa.  All the kiddos decorate cookies and had a great time.  We probably should have decorated before we bathed them, ha!
This girl liked to lick the frosting

Sweet boy was attempting some pictures on the cookies for Santa.
Then he wrote the note to Santa on his plate
Quick evening snack
Cookies, Carrots, and milk is ready!
Then we sprinkled the lawn with reindeer food Colin made at school.
It was wet and cold, Liam grabbed my boots, ha!
Sweet gal
Tracking Santa to see how quickly we needed to get to bed.
Then the Christmas Eve tradition carried on of opening a book before bed.
Liam got "It was the Night Before Christmas: A Brick Story"  It was illustrated as Legos and he loved it.
Colin got Lego City "Save this Christmas"
and Amelia got "Christmas in the Castle" various Disney princess Christmas stories
We had our warm fire and read the new books
Christmas Eve is my favorite.  I love the anticipation of it all.
After books the kiddos checked the Santa tracker one last time and it was time for bed.
Chris and I stayed up watching a Christmas movie and wrapping presents which I love.
Then we finished up and went to bed.
Santa came!

Christmas Eve Part 2

After spending the morning with Anna we went over to Aunt Trudi and Uncle Mike's.
Amelia, Laige, and Liam
Sweet tired girl
Liam playing peek-a-boo with Laige
He really had a good time with him
Then it was time for presents which the kids always love.
Liam loved his robot building kit
The whole first half of the school year Colin would bring in some toy to show Aunt Trudi and any and everyone else while we would drop Liam off.  Well Trudi had asked Colin a few times what he wanted for Christmas and he told her a ninja turtle.  He was thrilled when he got it.

Tired baby girl.
This year for Grandma we got pictures of all the great grandkids and put it in one frame for her.  I think she liked it pretty well.

We had a great mid-morning/early afternoon gathering and it was wonderful.

1st Movie and Christmas Eve Morning

We took Amelia to see her first movie.  We went to Laughlin, watched Moana and we all loved it!
Sweet gal picking her seat.
She was pretty pumped about getting snacks too.
Kiddos ready for movie time!
She did amazing and only got a little nervous around one part and a little antsy towards the end.
Amelia and Liam after he did her hair.  They were both pretty proud.
Now then Christmas Eve was very rainy in the morning.  Anna puts on an angel dash each year but due to the rain she set up some snacks and activities for the kiddos until Santa arrived.
It was a great morning and the kids loved getting to burn a little energy.
Playing ball.
Then Santa arrived to say hi before he had to jump on his sleigh.
Sweet kiddos
Liam letting him know what he wanted for Christmas.
The kids all sang Jingle Bells with Santa and Anna.  It was the cutest.
Kiddos with Anna we just LOVE her and all she does for our kiddos!

Liam's Christmas Program

Prior to all the Christmas festivities I found an app that allowed Santa to talk to your kids and it was personalized. On a different night over the course of three days each kid had a message from Santa.
Colin's up first
Then Amelia
and Lastly Liam
They all thought it was pretty neat and got excited to see each others video from Santa.
Now then on to Liam's Kindergarten Christmas program.
Walking in
He looked pretty cute and nervous up there
Love him
Here is a little video
Amelia wandered all over and played with baby Christina
they had fun.
It was a cute little program and I wish I would have gotten more pictures but alas I failed!
