Liam had his 15 month appointment on Friday. He is 32 1/2 inches tall and weighs 22.2lbs. He is still tall and skinny. We held off on his shots until later this week because he was getting over being sick. She also listened to his lungs and thought she may have heard a little crackling on his left lower lung, which can indicate some fluid in the lungs. So she gave him a breathing treatment and it was a awful. He hated every minute of it!! Despite his objections, he cleared up just fine and was extremely high strung afterward! Anyway, we are going to have to see an orthopedic specialist in May (that's how long it takes to get an appointment with these people!) for his bowlegs. She thinks the one leg will probably straighten out no problem but is not so sure about the alignment of his right leg. Overall everything looked good and he is developing fine, though.
The boy loves to play and still LOVES going outside. He is getting more and more into his stuffed animals but his Goldie dog is still favored. He pretty much understands everything we say or tell him (and then chooses whether or not to actually listen). He says, mama, dada, Hi, Bye-Bye, Uh-Oh, Ball, Choo-choo, nana (for banana), and I know there are more I just can't think of them. Oh yeah, he also says "hot." Except he thinks hot means hot, warm, and cold. He whispers it and will sometimes blow on whatever he has decided is hot. He loves to climb on anything and everything. The other day I walked out of the kitchen for about a minute and found the boy on the table in the kitchen. I couldn't believe it! We also know he is up to no good when it gets really quite. He is usually causing mischief! He is loads of fun right now and this age is awesome! He has also been off the bottle for a month now and weaning was easy!
A week and half ago I made some chocolate chip cookies. They were the pre-made kind because I don't have enough energy for truly home-made cookies yet! The boy loved them.
Here he is with his chocolate face
When he was feeling sick, had a fever, appeared to be teething, etc. We bought Liam some popsicles. He enjoyed every last bite.
Yum!

He's a sweet boy!
