Lake Havasu

Saturday we went to Lake Havasu to watch Sadie's basketball tournament.  This boy got to start his day off by having his car seat turned around and facing forward!  His knees were starting to go into his chest the other way.  He was a little confused at first.
Sweet boy
Once we started driving he was pretty pumped to be checking everything out.
Grandma Snay rode with us so we got to test out the capacity of our new car.
Me and my boys
As we started our drive Liam said "Mama listen to my story." "One time when I was climbing that mountain (as he points to a mountain out the window) with Flash, Aqua Man, and Spiderman..." It was quite the story turns out they rescued a little boy.  He is quite the story teller lately.
The boys had a lot of fun climbing the bleachers at the first game
After the first game there was a little break so we took the boys to the park.
They teeter-tottered together :)
This guy thought it was pretty cool.
When we left the park Liam sported his sunglasses like so...
After the park we went back to Great Grandma's condo so the boys could eat and take naps.  Grandma Snay and Great Grandma headed to the next game.  Once we got the boys to sleep I left and went to Sadie's third game of the day.  When the boys woke up it was time for the last game.  I went and picked everyone up and we went to watch the most interesting basketball game I have ever seen.
The girls played a team from Bullhead that had an "interesting" coach, (saggy jeans, hoodie, head phones in the whole time).  The coach got upset about something and at one point put money on the bench acting like the refs had been paid off.  Then his assistant coach stood up (which is not allowed and turned out to be his 15 year old son) and got a technical.  Then his son decided to pull a chair up right against the sideline and sit down so he received another technical and was kicked out of the game.  He then refused to leave and the coach ended up with a couple technical fouls and finally the refs called the game in the middle of the 3rd quarter and kicked all of them out of the gym.
The sad part is the coach and another parent/helper was telling our team that our coach sucked and so did we. Then the one coach/helper tried to flip off our crowd but Emily spoke up and let him know it was uncalled for.  The coaches were also cussing in front of these 7-8th grade girls!  It was appalling that a school allowed for this, if I was a parent I would be irate!  The girls were crying and blamed the ref and saw no fault in the coach.  It was awful.
Anyway here is White Cliffs with the consolation trophy (kind of like a tie for third)
After the last game we took the boys to the park again. This time the threw rocks in the water
It was super cute.
Then we went back to Great Grandma's, ate some pizza, visited a little and came home.  It was a great day :)

They look so young! I just felt like we were so much "older" when we were that age ;)
