The last weekend of June we took a little family getaway to Phoenix. It was completely relaxing. When we first got there the plan was to hit the pool but Grandma forgot her swimsuit so we had to make a pit stop at the mall. Amelia enjoyed her first time getting to play at the playground area.
The boys rode the train.
Then it was time to swim!
Liam amazed us! He has been doing so well at swim lessons and he completely proved himself. He can actually swim a little bit at a time. He gets a little tired but he does really well. This was definitely his turning point with his swimming. So glad we got him in lessons this year.
Uncle Matt and daddy tossed Colin around
Amelia chilled for a little bit in her floaty

Happy gal with Uncle Matt.

We ordered pizza and had to eat it upstairs and then came back down and swam some more before bed.
The next day Matt and Chris went golfing while us gals took the kids to Toys R Us and did a little shopping elsewhere. Then I broke free with the kids and we came back to hotel for some more swimming. Chris got back and hung with boys while they napped and Amelia and I headed to mall to meet up with mom, Sadie, and Macy. It was a mad house! When we got back we all went to Oregano's for dinner. Colin got pasta but didn't care for it to much but his sister loved it and Chris wasn't fast enough at cutting it up for her.

We planned on swimming some more that night but a dust storm rolled in and they closed the pool. It reopened at 9:00pm but the kids were already in bed. So of course we went to the pool immediately after breakfast.
I LOVE this picture!
Colin loved jumping in all on his own and he would even plug his nose.
Amelia is a little water baby too and gets super excited around the water. She also likes to put her face in the water but has no concept that she needs to blow bubbles so she sucks water right on into her lungs. It's great :/

Chris and I tried to do tricks, ha!
At least this one I look like I can run on water.
After swimming we packed up and made a trip to IKEA and Costco and headed home. The kids were wiped but overall we had a great time.
This little gal was pooped at bedtime when we got home.
Here are a few pics of our last night getting the mail at our old place. Amelia loves her little car.
Colin waiting for us to open mail box
Love these guys
