Liam's 5th Birthday Party!

Saturday we celebrated Liam's 5th birthday with a Batman Birthday Party!
He wore his batman shirt,
and of course there was a batman cake
They don't have a batman jump house so we settled on Spider-Man, ha!
I love jumphouses and so do the kids, it really is the best form of entertainment.
We lucked out and the weather was pretty awesome for his party.  Although once the sun went down it cooled off quite a bit!
We made hotdogs and chili dogs for his party.

Liam wanted Amelia to have pigtails for the party, so of course I obliged.
After jumping and eating it was time for some gift unwrapping.
Liam was so fun to watch.  He was genuinely excited and thankful for all his gifts.
I have to admit he got some pretty cool things!
Amelia went and hung out with her great grandma for a bit.
He had the best face when he opened up these light sabers.
He was pretty pumped.
Then it was cake time.
We all sang Happy Birthday.
After cake and ice cream it was light saber fights in the jumphouse.
and in the grass.
Chris and I got in with the kiddos and it was SO much fun!
It turned into a game of tackling me but we all had a great time.
Liam showed off his new trick (a front-flip where he did land on his back and not his head as this pic makes it look).
Once all the kids left and it was just the neighbor kiddos, grandpa attempted to set up the telescope.  The kids were all ready to check it out.
We also started a little fire and roasted some marshmallows, then it became a little chilly outside so it was lego time inside
Once everyone was gone we got a picture of him by his birthday sign.
They were being serious in this one.
Momma with her boys
Daddy with his boys (FYI, Amelia was asleep by the time we took these)
All in all I think Liam had a fantastic day and thanks to all those that came to celebrate!
