It's official: the t-ball games have begun. The boys look so stinking cute. Saturday, March 5th was opening ceremonies.
Here is Colin getting ready
He was pretty excited about putting on his uniform
Which was good since he is NOT a fan of practices, ha!
Liam who was ready to go!
He looks so big compared to last year
My t-ball boys
Being goofy
One with Amelia of course
They love her
Colin's team, of course he walked slowly to the base, rather than run.
Coming around to touch home plate
Liam's team
He made sure to touch the base.
After opening ceremonies we went to Lowe's to get some new shrubs for the front yard. Amelia had fun climbing into sample sinks
When we got home we opened her new girlie set from Grandma Casson. She thought it was great.
Chris and I helped nominate Anna for Women Making History and she won. Sunday was the award ceremony and Megan McCoy who helped with the award presentation decided it would be fun if we had the kiddos say something about Anna. Liam was shy and just handed her a giant Costco sized box of fruit snacks to give out after kids' boot camp.
Anna with the kiddos
We didn't bring Colin because it was right during nap time
The kids did great sitting through the ceremony (which was not short) and enjoyed some sweets afterwards.
The boys had their first t-ball game on Monday, March 7th. Of course it was freezing outside (despite lovely weather two days before the game and two days after) so we bundled the boys up the best we could.
Here is Amelia bundled up with G&G Casson.
The boys played at the exact same time so we had to walk back and forth between fields to watch them. Liam had on a long sleeve sweatshirt, his jersey, and two jackets. Ha! Here he is running home!
Colin did so well in the actual game situation which was a good thing, because like I said practices can be a bit rough for him regarding his willingness to participate (or lack thereof). Here he is running home.
This gal walked all around and watched both her brothers too.
And my boys, Liam on 1st and Colin hitting the ball. Even though it was freezing it was so fun watching my kiddos. I just love these boys!
