Boot Camp

Well, here I am playing catch-up once again!
Last week sometime we had gone over to G&G Snay's and the boys were wrestling/chasing each other.  They are getting so good at playing with each and other I love it!  Anyway, Liam would run out in front of Colin and Colin would chase Liam.  Then Liam would say "Oh no! It's a Peanut" and take off running.  It was hilarious.  I think I have failed to mention that Colin has been done with morning naps for a month now.  I just needed to jot that done for my notes :)
Last week Colin found the cupboard and had a great time playing inside it.
He thought my margarita maker was hilarious.
I let Colin attempt to eat his applesauce all by himself.  I should have taken an after photo because he was a MESS!
Liam is LOVING preschool and here are some of his first masterpieces.  He brings home new stuff everyday.
Colin is very into reading lately.  He will grab a book and come up to whoever is willing to read to him, hand them a book, and plop right down on your lap.  It is pretty awesome especially since I know this won't last forever.
We started Liam back up in boot camp.  He is doing so well, it's pretty amazing how he has changed in three months.  He follows directions so much better now!
Zombie Walk
On his tippy toes with Anna
Colin enjoyed stealing cones.

Colin and Amelia playing while the older siblings work out
They are cute together.

Camp

Last Friday the boys and I made a trip to Home Depot and decided to fix up our front yard area.  We planted flowers and put some mulch down in hopes to help keep the weeds out!  Colin enjoyed helping me out quite a bit.  His clothes were absolutely covered in mud so I decided to just strip him.  He continued to get filthy but he had SO much fun!
Later he relaxed a little on this pillow
Saturday morning we decided to go hang out with Chris's family at their camp in Williams.  Before we left there was this big rainbow out front.  The picture doesn't really do it justice.
We left around 8:30 and both boys fell asleep in the car right when we exited for Williams, I couldn't believe Liam crashed!  They both slept for about 15-20 minutes. While we drove towards the camp we almost had to stop for the sheep.
Colin immediately enjoyed his freedom and his climbing skills.
Aunt Sandy and Liam took a walk to meet G & G Casson.  Liam thought it was pretty cool that he could ride in the back of Grandpa's truck.
Colin being a happy little guy
Chris, Liam, and I found a tree that was growing sideways.  I used to LOVE trees like this when camping, unfortunately I am too big for them now :(
Here's a little video.  He REALLY enjoyed it!

This sweet little fella was exhausted and relaxed in his chair for a few minutes.
Uncle Chuck and Liam on the four wheeler.  Yes this made me a little nervous and normally I don't get that way but he had a great time and they weren't moving that fast :)
We also got him a helmet to wear and he was pretty pumped!
We also played a little baseball.
Liam found a rope to swing on
Liam checking out the crawfish that were caught
Sweet Colin was exhausted!  Chris drove him around and got him to fall asleep but he looked terribly uncomfortable in his car-seat and the minute I went to move him he woke up and refused to go back to sleep.  Here he is being a silly guy with Grandma's glasses.
We left right when it looked like it was going to rain.  We decided to eat in Williams hoping to keep the boys up a little longer and avoid an odd sleeping time.  This way they would just fall asleep around their normal bedtime.  Liam was getting a little antsy at the restaurant so I finished eating and we took a little walk.  He found a bear statue that he thought was pretty cool.
The boys stayed up the whole way home until the last 15 minutes of the drive when they CRASHED!  When we got home I took Colin and Chris got Liam.  I changed Colin into a new diaper and Pj's and he stayed like this the whole time!
Liam was apparently the same way
We had a great time and I am glad we took a little day trip!

Videos

After Colin's birthday Liam had quite a bit of fun in his new car.  He was pretending to go to the store and made a call to see what Fireman Sam was up too, ha!
Liam sharing his drink with Colin
Colin chatting it up on his phone.
And of course I have a few other things:
1. The other day Liam and I were outside playing and he was telling me a story, (he is quite the storyteller lately), he was going on and then he said "then I had to go poop and I looked down and said it looks like a banana!"  When I asked why he said that/thought that he responded with "just for fun!"
2. Liam has imaginary friends lately, it is just here and there and never the same name but it is quite cute
3. Liam likes to say "Can you do me a favorite" meaning favor, of course :)
4. The other night Liam woke up in the middle of the night and said he had to go potty.  I was so proud.  We have been putting him in a diaper at night just in case but he always wakes up dry.  So tonight we are trying just underwear.  Fingers Crossed
5.  Colin is REALLY into reading lately.  He will grab a book and come sit on you expecting to you to read.  I can never refuse my sweet baby's face and the chance for him to sit in my lap so I am loving this phase.
6.  Colin is starting to imitate sounds and it is awesome, he is also adding some new words to his vocabulary such as Hello, baba (for bottle), buh (book).
7. Colin has recently let us know when he is very angry or frustrated.  When he is not happy he will scream out his frustration.
8.  Lastly, tonight Colin and I were out front watering flowers and I asked him if he was ready for a bath.  He walked through the front door, through Liam's room and all the way to the bathroom!  I loved that he understood what I was telling him.  It was the cutest thing ever!  Also that just shows you how much he likes baths for him to leave playing outside.

Parks, Birthdays, and Catching Up!

I am a little behind but we've been busy.  For Colin's Birthday Emily and Uncle Matt got the boys some matching PJs.  Colin sat on Liam's lap for the photo but eventually Liam decided Colin was too big to sit on his lap.
Last week the boys and I spent a lot of time at the park.  We went on Wednesday morning and it was an awesome day.
Liam being a monkey
Happy little dude
Colin checked everything out from below :)
They had a lot of fun on the swings.  Colin is looking back because a dog is barking.
Peanut really enjoyed a tunnel that we could play peek-a-boo with.
Brotherly love
Relaxing
Climber boy
Juice box junkies :)  I love them
We went to park again on Friday and Saturday morning.  Friday we were going to meet up with the Jacobs but failed because of a potty emergency.  Basically there is no bathroom at this particular park and I wasn't about to let Liam go in a bush this newly into being potty trained!  I would be scared he would want to do it all the time! Saturday it was suppose to rain basically all day so we went to the park early in the morning and let the boys run around.  Colin enjoyed his time.
When we got home Colin took a nap and Liam played outside in his rain gear
He was pretty happy
When Colin woke up it was time to go to Cason's birthday party.  Colin had the most fun standing in the rain playing with great grandma's bird bath
Kids
Liam and Uncle Mike played

Here's what his hair does with a little humidity
Tyra, Paige, and Liam
Since the weather was cool and cloudy I soaked up ever bit of it!  We made a tortilla soup, pumpkin bread, and some Chocolate chip cookies on Sunday and a roast on Monday
Monday morning the boys were playing and Liam came out and said "Look at us mama"
They were having a pretty good time.
Liam really likes cereal lately but he tends to get milk running down his shirt so he is into bibs again.
We took Liam back to boot camp after about three months of not going.  He had the BEST time and cried when it was time to leave.  We went back on Wednesday and took this sweet picture while we waited for it to start.
Unfortunately, the lock was broken and none of the instructors' keys were working so we will try again next week :)
