Welcome 2016!

Here are just a couple pics of our little lady looking sweet and innocent in her high chair
She's a happy gal
A couple of days after Christmas I realized I never got a group shot of the kids in their pjs.  Therefore, we had a little photo shoot
Love these!
Pure happiness!
The goal of these photos was to send out some thank you cards to all the wonderful people who spoiled us during Christmas and I failed.  Thank you to all who made our day so special!
On New Year's Eve we had the neighbors over for some snacks, ice cream, and sparklers.
I bought the kids some special cups from the dollar store and they had grape juice as we did a countdown to the New Year at 8:00PM.  The kids watched the Madagascar countdown on Netflix.
Philip and Amelia, she did a little dancing
Watching the countdown
Then we did a little celebrating and they had fun necklaces to wear.
Sweet girl LOVES baby Philip
Momma and her boys
These two planned their wedding for the New Year. It was hysterical.  Scarlett said they would get married tomorrow so she could get ready and Liam was like can we just do it now? Ha!  They do have fun together and I am so happy to live in our neighborhood with other kiddos and a cul-de-sac where they can run and play.
Happy New Year to everyone!  Hope 2016 brings health and happiness to you all!

Christmas 2015 Part 2

I failed to post this video of Christmas morning.  I also forgot that Chris recorded it, ha!  I pretty much LOVE how excited Liam was over everything, how Colin was more excited about Amelia's gift and how Amelia just wandered around.
After we had our morning together, the Snay clan came over and enjoyed some breakfast and present-opening.  I pretty much did a terrible job taking pictures from here on out.
Amelia opening a giant elephant rocker
Loving her new blocks
Boys setting up a new toy
Giant elephant
She was so sleepy she was almost ready to fall asleep on it.
Once the Snay clan left, we called the Casson side and they decided to come on over to our house too!  It was amazing!
Kiddos with Aunt Sandy
Amelia sort of opening presents
By the way, the minute Grandma Casson arrived she was opening presents with the kids before anyone else even made it to the living room.  We had to stop her madness and get everyone else together.
Liam and grandma
That evening we went over to G&G Casson's for the big dinner.  Here's our attempt at a family photo.
The hubby and me (with the gal)
Daddy and his little lady
She was having so much fun playing peek-a-boo with the table cloth.

Tired kiddos with their daddy.

I had a good photo with my siblings but it will not post for some reason.  Anyway it was an amazing laid back day which was AWESOME!  It was a lovely Christmas and we truly are very blessed.  It's always a little sad when it is over.  Can't wait for next year!

Christmas 2015 Part 1

Christmas morning I was up before the kiddos so I started to get myself ready for the day.  Then I heard Liam come into our room and the first thing he said was "Here mom and dad open your present!"  He was so excited to have us open his sweet gift he made us.  I was expecting a "Santa Came!!" but the fact that he was more excited to give was awesome!
The boys were very ready to open presents but Amelia was still sleeping so they waited patiently for daddy to wake her up and change her diaper.
Finally it was time to open up some presents.
Love Liam's excited face in background here.
New bike!
So happy about Star Wars legos
New motorized vehicle just her size
Yoda ornament
Star wars socks.
Shopping cart and this little lady loves pushing it around
Amelia wasn't into opening presents unless someone started it for her.
New camera
My boys
Playing with paper
Colin's new guitar (ukulele but figured it passes as a guitar for his size)
Amelia and her gifts
Colin and his gifts
And lastly Liam with his gifts
Liam just wanted a lego set with yoda and a back scratcher, ha!  Santa seemed to find just what he wanted.  Colin wanted a guitar and on occasion mentioned a bike.  Amelia just wanted some girl toys, ha!  It was the start to a great a day!
Me and my babies after some present opening.
Up next the rest of the day!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was wonderful and laid back.  We didn't have to be anywhere all day.  So we cleaned the house a little, put a roast in the crockpot, and baked some cookies.  Oh, and of course we watched some Christmas shows and listened to Christmas music.
These boys loved helping with the cookies.
Later in the evening Scarlett came over and they each built a mini gingerbread house.
We also had dinner, Amelia finished hers then crawled up on a chair and started eating her brother's.  She really is a human garbage disposal lately.
After dinner and gingerbread houses we went next door to The Gallaghers' house for homemade hot chocolate and cookies.  It was a lovely little evening.
When we got home the boys went outside and sprinkled the reindeer food they made at school on the lawn.
It was so cold they did it as quickly as they could.
Here is what the note said that was attached to the reindeer food.
Afterwards we laid cookies out for Santa.  Liam purposely arranged the cookies so Santa knew these were for him.  Liam was worried he might eat his gingerbread house, ha!

Then it was time to open their new Christmas books.  Something we have done every Christmas Eve is let them open a brand new Christmas book to read.
Colin's "How to Catch Santa"
Liam's "The Jolly Christmas Postman"
and Amelia's "The Itsy Bitsy Snowman"
So we read all the books and put the kids to sleep so Santa could come visit.
Chris and I stayed up and watched "It's a Wonderful Life" and wrapped lots of presents.  Disneyland put me a little behind but it wasn't too bad.  Here is what Santa brought the kiddos...
...and the rest of the gifts including both sides of the family.  We even were in bed by midnight!  It was a lovely day and night.  I love the anticipation of Christmas Eve!
