Once we got to Flagstaff, I went to my appointment and Chris took the boys to pick up some lunch. We stayed at Aunt Sandy and Uncle Larry's house (even though they were gone they were kind enough to let us stay) where we went to eat lunch and take naps. When the boys and I woke up Tim and Mollie had arrived and we decided we better head out for dinner early-ish since it was Valentine's Day. Oregano's was the winner of course but we had about a 40 minute wait so Chris and I walked the boys over to the NAU campus and let them run around.
The first stop were these giant rocks
Liam especially had a blast climbing on them
Then we were by the art building and I caught this awesome one of Liam.
We played tag and then it was time for dinner. It was delicious.
That night when we got back to the house as we walked along the walk-way to the door the motion sensing lights lit up. Liam looked up at the light and said "Oh, thank you!" I am sure Uncle Larry would be happy that Liam approved of his lights.
Later that night Liam and Chris drew the short straws and ended up sleeping on the pull-out couch. At light's out they were saying goodnight and he asked Chris what he was going to dream about. Chris told him he would dream about playing with his little buddies Liam and Colin and he asked Liam what he would dream about. He told Chris he would dream about playing with...(thinking)..."my friend Patrick". It was a good little conversation according to Chris.
Saturday morning we went to breakfast at Mike and Ronda's which was very filling and delicious. Then we headed to Bearizona!
The boys were both pretty pumped to not have to ride in the carseats through the park. This little guy hung out up front with grandma.
And this guy hung in the far back with daddy. Although he did jump around a little.
We saw lots of animals up close, here are the white buffalo
Some big horn sheep
We saw some wolves and they like to try and block your car from going to far and then we saw the bears which was probably the coolest.
Colin was so cute and would make his "Roar" sound as he watched them.
Here's a little video of one walking next to the car
Once you do the drive through portion there is a walk through area and petting zoo to check out.
Grandpa with the boys out in front of the walk through portion.
Immediately when we walked in Liam insisted on some popcorn. He happily carried it around while checking out the animals. Here he is watching the otters
Colin eventually caught up and watched with his brother
We checked out the baby bears while they were playfully wrestling.

Sweet boys
Colin really enjoyed checking out the animals. Eventually we really need to get to the zoo. Here is our little guy in the petting area. He liked this goat

Colin LOVES pigs lately. He has a little pig that goes with a toy tractor and carries it around all the time. He also enjoys snorting like a pig. So he was pretty excited to see some REAL pigs
Daddy and our little peanut
The boys were pretty wiped out and were hanging with grandma toward the end. It was a sweet moment.
We finished up and went to McDonald's before heading home. Once we hit the freeway Colin, Liam, and I were all out like a light. Poor Chris had to drive in silence on the way home. It was an awesome little weekend.
