Amelia is 4 Months Old!

Four months old, my last little baby is FOUR! MONTHS! OLD!  Amelia had her check up on Tuesday and all is going well.  She is 24.5 inches long and weighs 13lbs 7 oz.  She is still super sweet and smiley.  She has been drooling a ton and is teething according to the pediatrician.  She loves to chew on anything she can get her hands on.  Even though she has rolled over she has decided not to do it again in the last two weeks, ha!  Amelia loves to watch her brothers play and thinks they are hilarious at times.  She also prefers to be carried so she can see what is going on but when she is tired, she doesn't mind cuddling.  She enjoys playing with her little toys and her toes.  She loves her toes, especially her left big toe.  It is her favorite one to chew on.  Her hair is still wild but not completely untamable and has lightened a little bit.  At her two month appointment I noticed a little discoloration on her leg and thought it was a bruise and the pediatrician thought it could be the way we held her.  Anyway it is not a bruise and she developed a birthmark after birth.  I did notice recently it is spreading a little.  So we are keeping an eye on it but the doc didn't seem to worried.  

Amelia is the easiest baby to get to bed.  I feed her, read to her, and lay her in her crib with the mobile and she falls right to sleep.  She is usually ready for bed around 7:30-8:00.  As for naps she doesn't have a schedule.  She usually naps at some point in the morning for about 45 minutes and will nap sometime in the afternoon anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours.  She usually ends up napping in the carseat in the morning on one of our errands and in the swing or on me in the afternoon. She also has a little ticklish spot right under her arms and will let out a good laugh some days.

She keeps trying to sit up even more and then will fall forward.  She also tries to lift her head up when laying down.  I just tell her not to be in a hurry to grow up ;)
