Where to begin! Thursday morning-once I got home from work and finished packing-we headed to the airport. Liam awaited the plane. He did fairly well on the flight out with only two little meltdowns (we were prepared for sustained bouts of screaming since he would be confined to our laps). He only slept about 45 minutes the whole flight!
Once we arrived in Kingman. We stopped by my parents' house. It was bittersweet. The minute I walked in the door Sadie had been crying and I found out my dear grandpa had passed away just a couple of hours prior to our arrival. As sad as it was I know he is in a better place and I am so glad we took the time to go to Ohio back in January so he could meet his first Great Grandbaby. We hung out at the house for a little while. Sadie and Liam went down the slide.
Uncle Matt showed Liam the jumping dog-aka Daisy

Afterwards we headed back to G & G Casson's to stay the night. The next morning Liam sported his turtle hat.
and Grandma Casson read to him.
We headed over to my parents house at about 1 p.m. to spend the rest of the afternoon with Grandpa Snay. He had to leave for Ohio later that night.
Liam did a little swimming in his baby pool
Then we set up the big pool while Grandpa grilled up some steaks.
We attempted to get Liam to blow bubbles but he just lapped the water like a dog. It was cute.
After we ate we soaked up our time with grandpa before he had to leave. Grandma Snay and Uncle Matt took him to the airport, while the rest of us chilled at home with Aunt Sadie. Liam enjoyed relaxing in her bean bag.
The next morning (Saturday) Liam made friends with the cat. Grandma held him and he ran in place with his feet petting the cat. Dusty loved it!
I like this picture because you can see Liam's top teeth and the space between them!
Then he pet the cat. This is the only time he will ever be around a cat!
Then he relaxed in Aunt Sadie's bean bag some more.
Liam also had his first haircut! His locks were getting a little long in the front and going in his eyes. He didn't seem to mind!
Later that morning we headed over to G&G Casson's. Grandma Casson had a tent with tunnel. Uncle Michael wore it well.

Grandma Casson got in on the action too!
That evening we all headed up to the Hualapai Mountain Lodge to have dinner. These guys joined us through the window.

Liam with his cousin Tyra. He really wanted her necklace!
All and all the first couple days were great and very busy! I will post more on our trip soon!
