Boston Part 1

After getting no sleep due to the flood we flew out of DC at 6:30 am to arrive in Boston at 8:30 in the morning. We immediatley began touring the city. We drove to Boston Common where a kind lad took a family photo for us.
Then we came across the CUTEST park EVER! I fell in love instantly. It had little frog statues everywhere. We let Liam run around and play a little since he had been restricted in the plane and car.
Picture with the fishing frog!
Then we jumped on a tour bus we could hop on and off of until we met up with Lauren and Kyle that evening. Here is the State House where we started our tour.
Boston Skyline with sailboats tied down in the middle of the water. I guess you have to swim out to your boat! HA!
Bunker Hill (Actually Breed's Hill is where the battle really took place according to the harbor cruise boat captain)
Cool Bridge (Probably not the real name of the bridge, but we were only there for a weekend, so you don't get a geographically accurate picture tour)
Liam looking sweet with the sea breeze blowing through his locks.
Daddy and Liam pretending to shoot off canons.
U.S.S. Constitution, we toured it and it was pretty cool.
Liam chilling on the tour bus
Yes, we ate lunch here. We were official tourists!
Trinity Church
Fenway Park. It doesn't even really look like a ball park from the outside, besides these statues.
Liam on his first carousel ride
He wasn't that thrilled, but mom thought it was great and almost started crying thinking about how big her boy is getting!
The Public Garden. It was beautiful and it makes me think of Parent Trap-the original of course!
Liam and daddy playing by the water and watching ducks.
Make Way for Ducklings statue. Based on this book. Alex and Tim actually bought Liam this book and they are the reason we were in Boston for their big day!
He loved the ducklings
Lauren met us at the park and we headed back to her and Kyle's place. We hung out for a while and then headed out to dinner. It was great seeing them!
We even put Kyle to work! Liam loved Kyle and kept making little faces at him. He eventually started to fall asleep on him too.
We eventually made our way to the hotel around 10PM and CRASHED! It was an eventful day but very enjoyable! Tomorrow Boston Part 2!
