Boston Part 2

Saturday morning Liam was up bright and early as usual.  We decided to take him to the pool and burn some of his energy so he'd take a nice long nap!
He loved it!
He is a water baby.  He loved splashing.

Here is a little video clip of him enjoying the pool.  He had a great time "jumping in"
We definitely wore him out.  He took a 2 hour nap which was excellent and allowed Chris and me to nap also.  That afternoon was the wedding and it was beautiful.  Tim and Alex were married in a church, but none of my pictures turned out that great.  Here is the Bradley Estate where they had their reception.  It was gorgeous!

Liam enjoyed his freedom of playing in the grass.
Family photo, Liam was not impressed.

The wedding was beautiful and so much fun.  It was great being part of their special day.  On Sunday we headed to Harvard and walked around the campus.  We also came across the Car Talk broadcasting office.  Chris LOVES listening to their show on NPR Saturday mornings.
Here is a picture of Liam and Mommy by Mr. John Harvard himself (or is it?).  The statue is nicknamed "the statue of three lies".  First, there were no pictures of John Harvard when the statue was created, so they chose a random student to model for the statue, thus it is actually not John Harvard.  Secondly, he was not the actual founder of the college, he was just a very large contributor.  Thirdly, it states the college was founded in 1638 when really it was founded in 1636.  People also apparently rub his shoe for good luck.
Neat building
Entrance to some of the dorms
A random house covered in ivy.
Liam eating his toes
Then eating his stroller.
Another cool building
Statue with Abe Lincoln in the middle.
After our quick tour.  We had to get to the airport because Chris's flight left at 3PM.  Mine and Liam's didn't leave until 7:45PM.  Chris had landed in Texas before we ever took off!  Liam refused to take a nap in the airport.  They even had rocking chairs, but he avoided it at all costs.  Finally, I put him in the stroller so we could get some dinner, started feeding him, and he feel asleep with a crunchy in his hand! Poor baby!
All in all it was a good trip to Boston.  Since then, Chris has been in California all week!  We tried webcaming on Monday night but Liam wasn't having it.  He kept reaching for the computer thinking he could play with his daddy.  Then he started crying and we ended the chat.  He misses him and so do I!  Being a single parent stinks!  I have showered only about every other day and having NO room for the baby to play has been an issue, too.  I have moved as much furniture as I can down stairs, but the rest I need help with.  We can't wait for daddy to come home!
