Sunday we went to the zoo with the Hamadis. It was a little cool and overcast initially but cleared up to be a nice sunny day. Here is Laith, Ghani, Liam, and Chris looking at the elephants.

We decided to hang out in the grassy area for a little bit. Some ducks came along and I was showing Liam how to throw some food and feed them. He preferred to hand the food to the duck, though unfortunately the duck was not going for it.
Liam was pretty determined and followed them with his little cookie in hand.
Then we visited the lions. These are the baby males! Can you believe how big they have gotten!
The big daddy lion decided to put on a show for us and then plop to the ground in exhaustion.
Afterwards, Liam was making a roaring sound and it was AWESOME but every time we tried to catch it on film he just stared at the camera.
On our way back to the car, Liam kept pointing to the waterfall so we strolled on over. He was pretty happy about it!

I wish we could go to the zoo with you. Or anywhere interesting, actually. Ha.
