Saturday (Dec 14th) we went to Zoolights. We originally were going to have a pretty big group but life happened and so it was just us Cassons, Grandpa, and the Guzmans. Overall we had a good time but it was CRAZY crowded.
We started our adventure by a fairly long walk just to get to the zoo.
Colin was pretty excited
and so was Liam :)
Finally we made it to the entrance!
Colin sat in the stroller and looked for the first part of our adventure and Liam did a little walking.
Liam was insistent on getting ice cream at the Zoo. And he didn't want it to be from anywhere but the Zoo! So we had to make a little stop and find some ice cream.

Liam was so ecstatic once he got his ice cream he made some major eyes at his ice cream sandwich.
He was a changed boy! He devoured his ice cream and was ready to finish looking at the lights
We walked around a little more and the boys rode on Chris's and my shoulders for a while. They had a good time but eventually they were pooped and so were all of us! Plus we still had a hike back to the car!
They next day we met up with Beth, Gavin, and her nephew Isiah.

We had a great weekend in Phoenix visiting the Zoo and our friends. Plus we got in a little Ikea and Costco run. Can't wait until next time :)
