Amelia is ONE!

Amelia,

Our sweet baby girl it's so hard to believe that you are ONE year old!  You are an absolute joy in our lives and have a vibrant, wonderful personality.  You are sweet and loving but you can show your sassy and feisty sides and we love you no matter what.

You had to be forced out into the world but once you were here I couldn't keep my eyes off you.

1 YEAR OLD!

We had a little mini birthday celebration with just the five of us.  You were pretty good at ripping open your presents.

Your brothers really wanted to open everything for you, but you didn't mind.

We sang Happy Birthday to you for the second time and you loved it.

You finally picked it up to eat but just took a little bite and were basically done.

You, my sweet daughter, have been a wonderful addition to our family.  You love to cuddle but also LOVE to play and especially love being outside.  You enjoy putting EVERYTHING in your mouth and really keep me on my toes!  You currently have eight teeth and four more on the way. You love chasing and playing with your older brothers, you love the water, and chewing on everything.  You call me "ma" and usually yell it out and call your dad "dada".  You can say "Hi", Liam, which sounds like "Um", and can use the gimme sign with your hands a lot when you want us or something.  It's pretty much the cutest!  You love to dance, climb on anything, and have no fear.  You still are waking up at least once a night and your dad and I keep hoping that will change soon!  You are a great eater and love pretty much anything we give you but you seem to really love cheese and strawberries right now.  We weighed you at 21.6 lbs and 29.5 inches long, though your official one year old appointment is this week so we will see how close we are.  We love you "Amewa"!!  You have been a true blessing and we can't wait to watch you grow!
