On Sunday we visited Balboa Park. We ended up going into the Natural History Museum. Liam was able to play on a slide in the antarctic/penguin section and LOVED every second of it.
Then he and Gavin decided to be on top of the world.
Liam played in a polar bear cave
Daddy and Liam weighed themselves and ended up about the same weight as a 9 month old Polar bear.
Jenna played a dinosaur game and got all the answers right, she was excited.
Eventually, we took a break from the museum to eat lunch. Liam had some of daddy's ice cream and it was hilarious. He kept closing his eyes and opening his mouth real big to take a bite/lick. I am not sure if he was doing it out of the shock of it being cold or not but we all laughed a lot!
This one is the best!
Here is a video clip for your enjoyment!
Later that evening we went to Geoff's parents boat. Geoff grilled up some mean hot dogs and we just hung out and chatted. It was wonderful. I think that is the thing I miss the most about not living close to friends is just being able to enjoy each other's company. Here is a picture of the boys, Liam is exhausted and Gavin looks like he is trying to fly out of my arms!
Aren't they precious?
