Deer Farm

Last weekend we went to Flagstaff.  I am helping out with the high school volleyball team and we had a tournament at Coconino High School.  We decided to go ahead and make a weekend trip out of it. Aunt Sandy was kind enough to let us stay with her.  Saturday I was at the tournament all day but the boys and Aunt Sandy went out to Elk camp and met up with Grandpa C. and various uncles.

Sunday when the boys woke up they did a little reading with Aunt Sandy.

They also had a blast playing in the toy box

They were happy campers.

We had plans on going to the deer farm and then driving home during nap time.  Liam was so cute and asked if Aunt Sandy could come with us.  I told him he need to ask her and see if she wanted to go.  He went running down the hall saying "Aunt Sandy, Aunt Sandy"  then he asked if she would go to the deer farm with us.  She joined us and it was great!

Once we entered the deer section we were attacked.  Liam wasn't too fond of the 10+ deer coming at him.

Colin on the other had was completely unphased by them.

As we continued down the trail, we were able to feed this deer some sweet potatoes

Getting some corn for the deer.  Their ears perked right up when they heard quarter hit the machine.

Liam and I had to throw it out for them so we could have a little breathing room.  When Liam was done feeding them he just pushed his way right through them. It was quite funny.

Towards the end we ran into some of these little monkeys.  They were cute but super stinky!

The boys each got a little gift, Liam a firetruck (random I know) and Colin a little stuffed deer.  He was pretty fond of it.

We left the deer farm and ate lunch in Williams and a wood fire pizza place.  It was delicious.  Then we took the kids over to a park to let them burn whatever energy they had left.
