15 Months

Our sweet little peanut turned 15 months old on Sunday!  I can't believe how fast time is going and how big my little guy is getting.  Colin doesn't have his 15 month old appointment until December so I measured him and he is 31.75 inches and weighs 23.7lbs.  We'll see how that compares when he has his actual appointment.

Colin LOVES to go outside and play and if we open a door he immediately tries to make his escape.  He also LOVES reading.  Colin has us read about 20 books a day. No Joke.  He will bring us books constantly throughout the day.  We enjoy reading to our sweet boy and don't mind a bit.  He is also very into stuffed animals and when he wakes up in the morning or after his nap he has to have one in each hand, especially his Mickey Mouse.  He cuddles with them for about 10 minutes and then continues on with his day.

Colin says a few words, mama, dada, hello, grandpa, nana (for banana), and George (as in Curious); there are more but I can't come up with them.  He also likes to grunt and point at things he wants or sees. Colin has also discovered climbing and tries to climb up on anything and everything. Luckily we don't have anything too high that he can get up on yet :) Colin has been weaned off the bottle for about two weeks.  He loves food and he is such a good eater.  We haven't really found anything he doesn't care for yet.  He has eight teeth and two top molars popping through.  He has skipped over his incisor teeth for the moment. He also got his first little freckle on his leg and one on his back.
