Monday was a busy but wonderful day. The boys and I stayed home and made chicken tortilla soup, pumpkin bread, played outside, laundry, and steamed the floors! Anytime that many accomplishments happen in one day, it's a good day :)
Colin had his first taste of an Oreo. He seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.
Liam was helping me make pumpkin bread when he heard Colin start playing with the big firetruck. He sweetly looked at me and said "It's car time, I gotta go" He quickly jumped down off the chair and ran to play cars with Colin. It made my heart happy.
Monday evening we had Aunt Sadie, Grandma Snay, Emily, and Matt over to carve pumpkins.
Liam participated for a little bit.
Colin didn't really care about the pumpkins he just wanted Grandma to read books.
Pumpkins
This is about all Sadie did, cut the top out. She said she had a cut on her hand and it stung to clean out the pumpkin. So I eventually had to gut her pumpkin.
Emily played with the boys
Boys and the finished products, Sadie was still working on hers.

Our pumpkins!
Aunt Sadie's to the far left, Uncle Matt did the ghosts, and Daddy made the haunted mansion. We had a great time and the boys thought they were pretty cool lit up.
