After the wedding we had Scott come home with us and spend a day hanging out. We all went to Chris's softball game and visited with the Jacobs. Then later in the evening we did some scorpion hunting. We have been having a problem with scorpions and the last thing I wanted was one of my kids to step on one. We had just sprayed the house about two weeks prior but they were still popping up. So I called up Pesty Pest control and they said that they need to use a special spray but first we needed to go out with a black light and find out where they are hanging. They also told me that they had recently sprayed our neighbors and they found over 100 in their yard! It was quite disturbing but luckily we only spotted about 20 which is still entirely too many but better then a hundred. Anyway these little stinkers light up neon green with a black light it is crazy!
After our scorpion hunting we all came in and just chatted. It was awesome getting to catch up.
This little girl refuses to wear her hat outside but on this particular day she had no qualms about wearing it.

This little lady is very independent when it comes to eating.
She really doesn't like anyone to feed her so we just let her make a disastrous mess every meal.
Amelia has become quite the climber monkey too. Here she climbed up onto an ice chest and into this spot in the kitchen.
We let her do her thing and I just stood by to prevent her from falling.
