Friday night we dyed Easter eggs once Chris got home from work. Here is our assortment of dye.
Liam watched me set everything up and wanted to get his hands on ALL of it! Eventually, he got his own egg and was able to draw on it. We let him attempt to place the eggs in the dye but as you can imagine it didn't work out too well with his propensity for throwing all things ball-like.
At one point Liam ran into the living room with his egg and was playing with it. He ended up dropping it and breaking it and he was SO upset! He cried and cried. We even tried to show him it was okay by peeling the egg shell off and we showed him you could eat it, but he didn't care.
Finished product. We didn't do too much designing this year--just coloring.
On Saturday we went to Baltimore to watch my cousin Laura play volleyball. I failed to get any volleyball pictures but there was a lot of volleyball and a lot of girls all in the Baltimore Convention Center with 49 courts set up inside. We also did a little walking down by the harbor. Liam wanted to play in water but it was a little chilly out.
Looking across the harbor.
So my little cousin is not so little, she is 6'1'', this is my attempt to be taller than her.
Aunt Sharon, Laura, me, Liam, and Uncle Don
Chris and Laura. Laura was on the upper end of a slant but they are basically the same height.
Her team ended up winning the tournament and are heading to Nationals soon!
