We have been trying to take Liam swimming every Sunday morning, when we have the opportunity. Here is the big guy sporting his new swimsuit. It comes with a cute hat too!

The water is actually pretty chilly when you first get in so we bounce Liam up and down and let him just in the water multiple times in hopes of warming him up. He shivers at times but could not care less how cold it is because he LOVES the water!
Here he is on the move with shivering blue lips, Ha! He is doing really well with the water and will let us dunk him under water with no tears, he kicks his feet, and attempts a doggy paddle.
When we finish I get out and grab his towel and he takes a warm shower with dad. He loves it.
At this same recreation center there is a soft gym. Which is a little room filled with mats and stuff for kiddos to climb on with out too much fear of getting hurt. I took Liam last Friday with a friend from Gymboree and he was one happy baby. The ball pit was his favorite. He kept climbing out of it and counting to 3 in his little language, "Eh, two, free" and then jumping in. Here is a little video...

Wow! Even the GYMS are better in D.C.! I love that there's an area for kiddos. Liam looks adorable shivering! Ha, ha! He is gonna be a swimmer like his mama.
