10 Months Old!

This sweet little boy turned 10 months old last Monday!  10 MONTHS!  I can't believe we are two months away from his 1st birthday!
Colin is still a very happy baby and he is all over the place.  He gets around quite well and is getting pretty good at standing on his own.  He has attempted the walker and does fairly well.  He loves to play cars with/like his brother and chew on anything in sight.  Colin is still working on quite a few teeth and his gums are stretched to the max.  I will be so happy when they finally pop through.  He doesn't seem to let them bug him too much but some days you can tell they are irritating him.
Colin loves to laugh and play and thinks his brother is the funniest person EVER.  He is a great eater and is willing to try new things.  He gets so excited to eat and and his facial expressions can be pretty fantastic when he tries new food.  He had a raspberry the other day and it was tart and his face was priceless.
Colin still goes to bed around 7-730 and wakes up at 5:30-6.  He is still waking up once a night here and there and usually needs me to rock him to get him back to sleep.  He is still a momma's boy and I am perfectly fine with it :)
Colin loves to play outside and loves water.  I think if he had a choice he would sit outside on a splash pad all day long!  He has the sweetest personality but I think he is going to defend his ground as he gets older.  He lets you know what he wants and if he wants something Liam has he goes right after it.  He can be very vocal and loves to make lots of noise, especially if there are lots of other people around being noisy, such as at a restaurant.
Colin is 30 inches tall and weighs 22.2 lbs.  He is a growing boy and I really just can't believe how big he is!  He still likes to cuddle here and there, especially when he is tired.  On rare occasions, he will even fall asleep on my chest like he did as a newborn.
This is one of my favorites of the day.
Colin is understanding more and more what we say to him which is pretty neat.  He knows when we say sit down (mainly when he is in the tub) he will sit down and then stand up again but he does listen for a brief moment, ha!  We continue to read to him and he is loving books more and more and shows a lot of interest in them.  I love it because reading to my babies is one of my favorite things.  He is also becoming a curious little monkey because he is always trying to open cupboards, drawers and doors to see what's inside.  We never had to bother child-proofing cupboards with Liam, but we do need to with this little peanut.
My sweet baby boy :)
