Grandma Snay Turns 50!

Friday night we celebrated my momma's 50th birthday.  Thursday was the official day but Matt had to work.  We went over to the house and had cake and ice cream,

Liam was pretty excited about cake and helped blow out the candles.  He also started sticking his finger in the whip cream frosting and eating it (with plenty of encouragement from the birthday girl).

Grandma has been wanting to get a picture with the boys for a while but it just hasn't happened.  Well both kids cooperated for her birthday!

We had a great time, eating, dancing, and playing outside.

Saturday we planned to head to Vegas for a little shopping and a show.  The boys stayed home with G&G Casson.  Before we left they were having a grand time with the water table.

We spent the day shopping and later went to the show Recycled Percussion.  I saw it back in February with Maggie and Tammy and enjoyed it, plus Groupon had a great deal! Anyway when we got there I was pretty nervous that my mom and dad were not going to enjoy it.  My mom even made a comment about being too old to be there, Ha!  I pointed out much older people.  In the end it was GREAT and everyone enjoyed themselves.

We all went to dinner afterwards and did a little people watching on the strip.

We ate at Margaritaville and they have people on stilts that make balloon hats so of course we got one for Sadie.  She was SO embarrassed!

She was so funny to hang out with because she really does embarrass pretty easily.

Overall, it was a great 50th birthday!  We all had a good time.
