Phoenix/Tucson Trip Part 2

Saturday morning we left Phoenix and made our way to Tucson to UofA for the book festival.  We made our way straight to the kids area.  The first stop was checking out this robot.  They each had a turn controlling it.
Liam's turn
Then they did a little painting
Colin looking very professional
Amelia took a good long nap in her carrier with me
We wandered around and checked out many little stands and the kids picked out some books and Spot stuffed animals.  Then we went to watch Pete the Cat theater.  Liam was super tired and had a couple moments earlier in the day but seemed to perk up at the storytime.
Doing the chicken dance
Amelia watching her brother
After the storytime the kiddos ran in the grass
and Liam did a little tree climbing
He was pretty proud of himself

We eventually left and went to the hotel to do a little swimming per the boys' request.  When we arrived at the hotel there was a Toys R Us next door.  I looked at Chris and gave him the "Oh No" look and he said something along the lines of Liam might not know what it is since he can't read.  Literally seconds later Liam said "Look it's a Toys R Us!"  HA! Anyway, we took the boys swimming, ate dinner, and let them go to Toys R Us.  They had so much fun! The next morning we ate breakfast and loaded up to head home.  When we got to Phoenix we made a pit stop at the McCormick-Stillman Train Park.  The kids had a great time running around.  Colin lost his marbles a couple times but it was because he was so tired!

Colin being a climber monkey
We didn't catch a picture of Liam because he was sprinting everywhere and we were just making sure we didn't lose him, ha!  I'll have you know he had a great time.  G&G took the boys the rest of the way to Kingman and Chris, Amelia, and I met up with Jenna and did a little bridesmaid dress shopping for her big day.  It was a wonderful weekend.
