Last Friday was Liam's birthday and was also the day the boys were going to begin their adventure across the country.
Daddy and Colin visiting prior to departure. Colin slept the entire night through for the first time, Thanksgiving night. Of course I hardly slept because I kept checking to make sure he was okay!
Liam opening gifts
He was a happy boy
Aunt Mindy put some candles in a muffin so we could sing to him.
Once the boys left on their four-day journey, us gals took the boys to the Richmond Zoo and it was awesome.
Liam and Anderson
Liam was SO excited about the carousel and rode it a couple times with grandma
Colin was hungry so we watch from a bench :)
Monkey see, monkey do
Our group with the rhinos
Walking with my boys
The grandmas wanted a picture with the boys and I about ruined it by trying to get the stroller out of the way. Liam was NOT happy about it!
We got to feed giraffes which was AWESOME and their tongues are crazy long
Colin took a sweet little nap holding his hands together
They also had a big cage area full of birds that you could go in and feed. Liam was pretty nervous about it at first, and he dropped his stick of food the minute the first bird landed on it. He also had three different birds land on his head but he warmed up to them and got a kick out of feeding them.
The boys took a train ride
Liam chased a chicken
He was a happy two-year-old boy
Colin was happy too
Liam found this jeep on our way out and had some fun driving (it was broken but he still enjoyed it)
It was a wonderful day for our happy two year old, thanks to Grandma, Aunt Mindy, Michelle, and Anderson for spending the day with him!
