Saturday morning we made our way to the Farmer's Market. We met up with Megan and Jackson.

Liam helped me pick out some of our favorite apples, Honeycrisp apples, we even bought them from our regular stand. Then Liam and Jackson checked out the old chests. I have always wanted one of these cool chests.
We eventually meandered down by the river and the boys ran around and played. Liam especially liked hanging from this anchor.

Colin really wanted to climb on the anchor like the other boys, so daddy was nice enough to set him on the top. He was pretty excited about it! Colin has been drooling a ton lately as the picture shows. He even had a few cranky moments because of his stubborn teeth coming in.
His hair was probably the curliest it has ever been while we were in Virginia. The humidity definitely played a role.

Jackson and Liam had a blast running around in the grass and played a little game of chase, which turned into a game of tackle also. I miss seeing these guys interact.

When we left Old Town, Liam was being a silly guy and was putting his hat on in every direction telling me to "look mama" He thought he was pretty funny.
When we got back to the Hamadi household we all freshened up, bathed the boys, and went to The Company picnic for Chris' work. The boys were pooped. Colin immediately fell asleep in the car and Liam crashed about 30 minutes prior to our arrival to the picnic. He was out!
I stayed in the car with the boys so they could sleep while Chris went to chit chat with his co-workers. The boys woke up about 30 minutes later and we joined the fun.

The boys LOVED the jump house. It was of course directly in the sun and blazing hot! Maggie and I stood there watching the boys jump forever. We convinced them to get out when the bigger boys were jumping but not without a few fits! Eventually, pretty much everyone was gone so the boys had the place to themselves so Maggie and I sat inside the jump house with them and watched them have a BLAST.

We left the picnic and went directly to DC to check out the monuments. We didn't get to all of them because it was late and the government did attempt to block most of them off. We still got a good view and a few pictures.

The Lincoln Memorial was blocked off so no one could get up the steps so we got this picture of the boys on a bench in front of it.
Washington Monument. The scaffolding looks really neat, so even under construction it's a worthy tourist spot.
We ended our walk pretty quickly because Liam needed to use the restroom and everything was closed. Unfortunately, Chris and I didn't think to throw a diaper on him just in case as we were running to the car. Liam was so upset he didn't make it to the restroom and I felt terrible! We left for Maggie and Ghani's house and ordered pizza. The boys spent their last night playing together and the adults stayed up late visiting. We had a great day.
