Virginia Part 4 - Montpelier

The rest of our trip was pretty relaxing at Aunt Mindy and Uncle Randy's.  It was so nice just to hang out and enjoy the fall weather.  It actually cooled off!
When we got up Monday morning the boys wanted to take a ride in the wagon.
Daddy pulled them down to see the horses.
Colin was so excited.
The boys saying hi to Napoleon
Then we made a leaf pile for the boys to run and play in.
Michelle and the boys came over and we had a lovely day playing :)
Colin, Liam, Brady, and Chris
Brady, Aunt Mindy, and Liam
Colin showed a lot of interest in Brady.  He also kept attacking his face trying to get his nose. They are pretty much the same size and Brady has the best chunky baby thighs EVER!
Liam and Anderson
Later that night Michelle had to tutor so we all drove into Richmond to meet up with Ryan and eat dinner.  The place of the night was Chick-Fil-A.  It had a play area that we thought the boys would enjoy but it was crazy busy and crowded.  They did play for a little bit but it didn't last too long ;)
The next day Uncle Randy pulled out the golf cart and the boys went for a ride.
Of course we went to visit Stormy and Beauty again
Michelle and the boys came over again and the boys had a great time playing outside in the sand.
Brady did a little swinging.
Sweet boys
We got the boys down for naps and when they woke up we got ready to head into Richmond for dinner.  Before we left the boys were playing outside and were having a pretty good time.
Before dinner we went to the mall to a little kids play area to let the boys run around.  There was a pretty rambunctious kid and when the mom let him go into the play area she said something to extent of him being high strung.  Anyway, Liam got hurt and I missed it but Mindy saw and it was that little kid that did it.  The mom came up and asked if it was her son, I said yes.  Then her response was "well he has four brothers he's just tougher than most kids"  WHAT?!  I about blew a gasket. She didn't even say "sorry" or "is your kid okay" She said something else and then I just turned my head and said something about needing to bite my tongue.  Trust me I could have taken her plus I had Aunt Mindy on my side :) Needless to say she and her son left.
We made our way to a Japanese Hibachi restaurant, which was awesome.
Liam was pretty nervous about the fire being set at the table while they cook.  Chris kept telling him it would be okay and "cool".  Liam said it "wouldn't be cool, it would be hot", ha!  Once the guy got to the table and started cooking Liam kept a close eye on him the whole time and when he did the onion volcano Liam quickly closed his eyes from the heat of the flame, but said it was cool afterwards.

Liam ate SO good.  He really enjoyed his fried rice.

After dinner we went to the Ives' house so the kids could play and we could just hang out.
Colin thought the baby toilet was a good toy and seat :)
The boys thought this car track was pretty cool.
The gang. I miss getting to hang out more often
Liam and Aunt Mindy
Anderson was a crack up the later it got.  He did a little dancing and then made sure the rest of us joined in.  He was so funny.
Liam found the baby toy and kept saying "attack, attack" into the microphone.
The next morning we got packed up and went to Panera for lunch before heading to the airport.  On our way to lunch I was sitting in the back of the car with the boys and Colin insisted on holding my hand and then he fell asleep holding my hand against his face.  He looked so sweet.
We said our good-byes and I was super sad that our trip was over and wanted to stay forever.  I made it through without any tears though.

We had such a wonderful time with the Hardens and Ives and we can't wait to do it again.  PS Virginia friends and family we will be back next October! (Hopefully sooner than that also)
