Pool Time and Other Stuff!

The start of June was scorcher!  So it was decided that pool needed to be set up.  The kids were SO excited.
Amelia with her floaty (we decided it was worse than just her swimsuit since it flips her forward and anymore she just wears a swimsuit and is closely supervised by an adult in the pool)
Kiddos!
Liam's favorite thing, jumping in!
Colin jumping in
We love our pool and have been in it almost every day.
One night we went to dinner and grabbed some ice cream.
The kids do enjoy some Baskin Robbins every now and again.
Sweet kiddos
Amelia always has some crazy hair in the morning.  Well, one morning Chris decided a chip clip was the best way to tame it.
Poor girl
Saturday June 4th was closing ceremonies.  It was blazing hot at 0900.

When the kids came off the field Chris never saw Liam.  He saw some of the team but not him and the coaches bolted instead of making sure all kids got back to their parents.  Liam was gone about 5-10 minutes and Chris was looking for him and then I saw him as a parent was walking with him.  You could tell he was pretty shook up.  I gave him a hug and told him he did the right thing by finding an adult to help him.  At that moment he broke,  it was awful, he started crying and I felt terrible.  Just thankful all was okay. Scary parent moment for sure! Here are our boys and their trophies
With Amelia too
After closing ceremonies we went to the KRMC kids day.

Amelia driving the firetruck
She loved it and had little desire to get out.
After the cool helicopters and rescue vehicles we went inside to cool off.  They had a great time.
In other news this girl was able to turn forward!  It has actually been worse traveling with her because she sees us and thinks we should bow to her every whim.  She is not a great traveler and likes to scream especially on long trips.  Hoping it gets better!!
