The last weekend of June I was coaching a volleyball tournament in Phoenix. We decided to make it a family affair since the tournament was four days long. G&G Casson came along to help Chris with the kiddos while I was gone. Our team played every afternoon, which allowed for mornings together. Here is little Amelia looking awful cute on our way down to breakfast.
Friday morning we decided to surprise the boys with a trip to the Legoland Discovery Center. Here they are testing out a helicopter ride in the mall before the main attraction opened.
The kids loved it! It is pretty pricey for a half day worth of entertainment but they had such a great time it made it all worth it.

After displays and a little interactive ride is the play area.
Legos everywhere
Daddy and Amelia playing with the big legos
They had a large play area where only kids could enter. Liam couldn't wait to get in. Once he did he didn't really want to come out. Colin and Liam building a giant castle.
Amelia did go in the play area but it made me a nervous wreck. She was hard to keep track of so Liam had to find/follow her. Eventually we convinced her to stay near Chris and me.

They got it as tall as Liam
They had a little 15 minute 3-D movie that we watched.
Amelia did not keep the glasses on so hopefully her eyes are not too damaged,
After the mini movie the boys want to build some cars that they could race.

It was a great time but eventually Colin wore out. He was just diagnosed with an ear infection the day we left for Phoenix. I left and went to volleyball and everyone else grabbed a bite, took naps, and had an evening adventure together. Next up swimming and the Hall of Flame Museum.
