Friday morning we were up early so we could walk around DC some more. First stop was the visitors center for potty breaks, ha!
Then we continued our journey
Washington Monument was first on the list
My babies
Boys standing next to the Monument
As we were heading to the World War II Memorial the boys went to chase some of the birds.

Love this one by the reflecting pond.
Liam before his hike up the Lincoln Memorial steps
And they're off (Liam had already been up to where the pic was taken from but went back down to guide his siblings)
Love them
Liam took a picture of us at the same spot we got engaged.
Aunt Mindy and Uncle Randy met up with us for lunch by the Lincoln Memorial (Mindy had some work to do in the morning). Once we finished lunch G&G and Mindy and Randy jumped on a tour bus and we continued our adventures.
Next up the Tidal Basin. We didn't have too much time so we didn't get to walk all the way around to see Tommy and Frank.
MLK Jr.
Then we circled around to the other side of the Washington Monument all because I wanted to re-enact this photo. I have one of these three from our last trip and wanted another.
Amelia was sleeping so we hung out in this area for a bit.
We sat and watched the ducks
When Amelia woke up she joined in.
Then we strolled on over to the White House
After that we found some ice cream
Everyone was very happy
We all sat on a bench enjoyed our ice cream and the kids liked watching the squirrels
We decided to go check out the Natural History Museum.
The kids had a great time but we sure didn't take too many pictures in there
Then it was time to head back to our parking spot and head to Alexandria.
We all said good-bye until next time.
It was a wonderful day spent in a city I love with my beautiful family.
