Colin had a wonderful second birthday! Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated our little guy. We went over to G&G's in the morning to get some things set up for his party. When Chris and I came home with his party balloons he was pretty excited.

Party favors
and his birthday sign!
He arrived at his party a couple minutes late but it was because he was finishing up his nap. It took him a minute to warm up to everyone but once he did he was ready to go.
He ate a little snack and once the kids arrived they headed outside to the sandbox.
He was enjoying himself

These guys had fun playing in the pool. Colin joined for a few but I think he decided the bigger kids were a little too big for him.
These two had a blast in the pool
Liam went to Riley and Payton's birthday party earlier in the afternoon so he was pretty exhausted even though he did get about an hour nap. He hung out quietly in the chair for a little bit.

Love this one of him and his cousin Westley
He had a blast playing with the mister
Finally it was time for birthday cake. Colin had the cutest face while everyone sang to him. It was a shy little look but at the same time you could tell he was enjoying that everyone was singing to him.
Then he was pumped to eat the frosting on his candle

Once it was time to open presents everyone came inside. These three kiddos ran in circles for few minutes.

Colin wanted to sit down and check out each gift. It was hard to keep him on task to keep opening presents. I couldn't blame him, of course you want to check out each new toy.
More opening
The kids were all so great and waited patiently for Colin to open his gifts

Grandma and Colin
Colin had an awesome time! Jenni thanks for bringing your girls even though I know they were tired and probably wanted to go home and play with their new toys :) Thanks to the Dysons for making the trip from Phoenix it was great seeing you guys! And thanks to everyone else who came he really had a great day.
Uncle Matt had to work but stopped by eventually and said hey to Colin.
We all stayed at G&G's for a little bit after everyone left and cleaned up and the boys played with the new toys. Liam overall did a great job handling his brother's birthday. It was hard at times because they both wanted to play with a new toy but Liam seemed to understand that is was Colin's day and his new toy and he too will be having a birthday soon enough. He's already telling me what he wants, ha!
We got home late and as I scooped Colin up, he had his head resting on my shoulder and I said "Come on birthday boy" as we walked to his room and he sweetly looked at me with a big smile and said "Birthday happy" and then started making a blowing noise like he was blowing out his candles. It was the cutest and then I laid him down in his bed and he quickly closed his eyes and still had a smile on his face. It must have been a pretty good day :)

What an adorable boy and party! I may very well steal 95% of those cute ideas for one of my boys' parties. :)
Steal away :) It was very easy and the train was a nice clean up. No dishes to wash :)
Birthday happy!!
