Our boys participated in their first triathlon on Sunday! We weren't really sure what to expect but the boys had a blast. We woke them up bright and early at 6:20am. We started by just opening their doors. Colin didn't budge at all and Liam told us to "Close my door". Once we got them up and ready they jumped in the car willingly.
Once we got there we pinned their numbers on and waited for the race to begin.

Boys before the race.
Love these guys
Colin went first. Daddy and him swimming,
I dried Colin off a little put on his race shirt and shoes and he hopped on his bike. Daddy stayed back so he could be with Liam and Grandma Casson followed in case we needed assistance.
Sweet boy
Colin did excellent on his run. He took off and was so cute but he didn't care to run back up the hill and started playing with the cones.
I missed Liam swimming but had Sadie grab the other camera out of the bag so she could take a few pictures. He did a great job and swam the whole way by himself with the life jacket on.
He seemed to enjoy it.
Then it was off to the biking part.
We discovered we really need to get Liam a bigger bike (which is already our plan for his birthday in November) The balancing bike is just too short but he did a good lap and a half with it and then traded it out for the tricycle.
Good job buddy!
Minuet was like a pro and cruised right along.
Then it was time for the run. We had Liam head the wrong direction so he ran a pretty good sized lap. Chris was telling him he needed to do two but since we clearly went the wrong way and he ran pretty far he was pooped. So one lap was all he did :)
He was a thirst guy afterwards.
These boys seemed to have a lot of fun and LOVED getting a medal.
Afterwards we went to IHOP with G&G Casson, Grandma Snay, and Aunt Sadie. It was a lovely Sunday morning and the boys took some lengthy naps.
