Christmas Morning

Christmas morning Chris and I were both up before the kids!  Our children are usually up by 7:15 at the latest, but they slept right on through that time.  So we decided we would get ready for the day until they woke up.  Colin was the first one up at 7:45 so we sent him into Liam's room to share the news Santa had come.  Keep in mind both boys had colds, which may have contributed to them sleeping in.  Liam slowly got out of bed and came out to the living room to see what Santa brought.
Colin, Amelia, and Liam's gifts.

Liam was all about Christmas this year and really understood the present opening but not so much what Christmas is about, parenting fail!  We did try and explain that Christmas is not all about gifts but I am not sure how far we got on that lesson.  Anyway, here is our big guy checking out his stocking.
Colin grabbed one thing out of his stocking and then came to check on Liam, ha!
The boys got some movies, an ornament, bath soap, and a mini stuffed super hero in their stockings.
We brought Amelia out to enjoy the gift opening but she wasn't quite awake.

He was excited about his new baseball set

Liam with his
and Amelia with hers
We got a little more carried away than I planned because we forgot we had bought a couple things and rediscovered them later, ha! They all got one big toy and book from Santa and some shirts, a toy, bath soap, and PJ's from mom and dad. They also got some books from the Ives', thank you! The kids had an awesome morning at the house and it was so fun seeing their excitement.  I think I am just as excited as they are on Christmas morning to watch them open presents. We then had to get them ready and head over to G&G Snay's and G&G Casson's; more on that later.
